Gill Robinson M.B.E.
Congratulations to our Founder and Manager Gill Robinson who was awarded an M.B.E. in the Queen's Birthday Honours List - 14 June 2008 "For services to Healthcare and to the community in Buckinghamshire." Here's a picture of Gill being presented with her award by the Queen at Windsor Castle on 11th November 2008.

We were one of 60 Health or Social Care associated support groups and professionals from Milton Keynes Social Care Services and Hospital, Ambulance and Primary Care Trusts who had a stand at the event organised by the Milton Keynes Local Involvement Network. This was part of our ongoing efforts to publicise the work of our Group and the support we can offer to people with heart conditions and to their families.
Milton Keynes Volunteers Fair 3 June 2008
We ran a stand at the MK Volunteers Fair at the centre:mk in Middleton Hall on Tuesday 3rd June 2008. The purpose was both to publicise our Group and its services, and also to see if we could recruit any volunteers to help us to run the Group sessions.
We didn't put on an exercise demonstration like last year as it was difficult to get enough members together midweek, but below are a couple of photos from last year's Fair of us demonstrating the sort of aerobics we do during our exercise sessions.
