Do you suffer from Angina?

Have you had a heart attack?

Have you had any other form of heart problems?

If you have, are you unsure what you can and cannot now do?

Has your self confidence taken a severe knock?

Do you want to get back into the mainstream of life again?

If you, or any member of your family, can answer YES to any of the above questions then we may be able to help.

We are a local charity group established in Milton Keynes in 1989. We offer a safe environment for people with cardiac conditions to exercise in the care of qualified British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (BACR) teachers.

The Group meets every week and has an exercise programme directly related to those who have had the type of problems described above. It also provides an opportunity to socialise with people who have had similar problems.

We are affiliated to the British Heart Foundation and to Arrhythmia Alliance - The Heart Rhythm Charity.

A word from one of our Patrons - Big George Webley

Having a heart attack is quite a wake up call.Photo of MKCCG Patron Big George Webley
If you survive it, your focus is,
“I DON’T WANT ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE!!!”
So how to get better?

Well for me it started and ended with the Cardiac Rehab Group. They got me thinking about what I ate, drank, did on a daily basis. They showed me how to move the bits that need moving and understanding living parts of life in a different gear. In fact the view has been wonderful since my heart popped just before Christmas 1995.

Clichés aside, I really have never felt as good as I do now. And I have no doubt, without those Rehab sessions, I’d be dead!
